Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan - Regulation 16 Submission

Representation ID: 71901

Received: 12/08/2020

Respondent: Mr Terence Davidson

Representation Summary:

The number of vehicles in Radford increases frequently. The national speed limit of 30 mph is too high for many reasons.
One is the width of the roads, with so many vehicles parked on both sides of the narrow roads 30 mph is an unsafe speed.Children and the elderly are my main concern, but even fit and aware people are being caught by surprise at the sudden appearance of cars etc.

The average speed of vehicles going through via the main road is way above 30 mph. Enforcement of the law has to be done.
50 mph is commonly seen.
