Representation ID: 61728

Received: 18/01/2014

Respondent: Roger Mills

Representation Summary:

Sites 4 and 6 should not have been discounted. They should become preferred options for the following reasons:

Site 4
-Is close to the main settlement.
-Would have low landscape impact with appropriate screening.
-Would have low ecological impact
-A natural permanent boundary exists.
-Close to railway
-Traffic would not pass through the village.
-Residential impact would be low.

Site 6:
-Would have minimal residential impact.
-Natural screening is present.
-Good/safe access can be achieved.
-The site conforms to existing policies (LDF/LP;Rural Area policies)
-Low landscape impact despite WDC primarily discounting the option for its location within a sensitive landscape.
