4. List of Sites and ‘Areas of search’, from options consultation

4.1 In 2013 the District Council undertook an options consultation on Gypsy and Traveller sites. That consultation included a number of specific sites that had been put forward at the time, along with some more extensive ‘areas of search’ which appeared to offer reasonable opportunities for suitable sites, subject to further assessment.

4.2 The sites and ‘areas of search’ which formed the basis for the public consultation are as follows:
