Representation Summary:

The plan to build so many news homes in this area will only exacerbate the existing traffic congestion issues and the suggestion that current traffic connections are reliable is inaccurate.

Which villages have been identified for growth?
The majority of growth is focused in and around the district's 10 most sustainable villages - Baginton, Barford, Bishop's
Tachbrook, Burton Green, Cubbington, Hampton Magna, Hatton Park, Kingswood, Leek Wootton and Radford Semele.
These are settlements with generally a good range of local services and facilities and also reliable travel connections to
other larger more urban areas for work and other services.

I wish to draw your attention to your information above and especially the section highlighted in red. I live in Barford and can assure you that there has only to be an incident on the M40, A46, or roadworks in the vicinity or indeed Wellesbourne Market on a sunny bank holiday and the whole road network around this area seizes up. My daughter who lives in Lillington got stuck on the A46 one morning last week just due to traffic congestion and one evening when I was returning from Lillington at 4.30 it seemed that every route in and around Leamington Spa and Warwick was log jammed and a journey that should take no longer than 15 minutes took me 40 minutes.

It appears to me that I can only travel outside of Barford between the hours of 10.00 am and 3.00pm to avoid traffic congestion I therefore fail to see how you think we have 'reliable traffic connections' The plan to build so many news homes in this area will only exasperate the problem further.
