I am not a resident of cubbington but live near the top of the parade west of the campion hills.

I strongly object to the development of the land next to Glebe Farm, i regularly go for walks on that land on the way to cubbington woods and weston under weatherly/hunningham, the views from the top of this land give a remarkable view of leam valley especially on sunny days, it's a wonderful area with plenty of wildlife, merging the bad parts of lillington to cubbington is a very bad idea, they have a completely different feel to each other, old cubbington is a lovely peaceful village.

The area's roads would not be able to handle the much increased traffic volume and alot of it would go through the parade area on the way to the industrial estates/retail parks south of leamington, housing should be concentrated south of leamington and south/west of warwick, there are much better opportunities to improve infrastructure here without impacting too much on other area's.


The road system south of leamington is better and has more scope for improvement, residents could get to industrial estates, Shires retail park and Asda easily without affecting any villages residents quality of life.

Building on land next to Glebe Farm would completely change the area for the worse, old cubbington has a unique feel to it unlike new lillington, building a huge estate would connect these different places and eventually over time turn old cubbington into just another suburb of leamington with similar social and crime problems some parts of lillington have.

Offchurch residents would also have to put up with increased traffic, it is already quite busy at peak times and this housing development would make it worse as residents of this new housing estate would inevitably take short cuts to Shires retail park and asda, flooding which is an issue on the road across the bridge into offchurch could cause terrible road congestion too with people in a rush to get home.
