This would be a disasturous place to develop for housing. This would see the clear distinction between Leamington and Cubbington disappear and would also impact on Offchurch and see a couple of the most scenic villages in the Leamington area disappear and be swamped up in an expanding sprawl.
Thousands of new faceless, cheaply built housing would just mean the area lost it's character. At the moment it has an appeal as an ideal spot for commuters who head of town to the north, who don't add to the traffic problems in town.
