Cubbington=a separate village with character, community spirit. Proposed site larger than 'Old Cubbington'.
Protect Green Belt . Site rich in wildlife. Footpaths=recreational facility.
Development>more traffic. Rugby Road, Offchurch Road very busy at 'rush hour'.
I contest statements in planners' submission:
1. no flood risk: low-lying area becomes waterlogged (run-off from the surrounding hills). If built on, water could not soak away, adding to known problems in village.
2. re schools, shops ... adequate for present community, insufficient for additional large development .
3. employment opportunities - very few in Cubbington.
