Representation Summary:

The village could certainly benefit from some new housing. We have been looking to move for 2 years but don't wish to leave the area.

House prices are too high for the size we are looking for.

It would bring much needed extra business to local shops and pubs.

May also be a positive effect on future house prices if HS2 is built as Cubbington would effectively become within the London commuter belt benefitting everyone.

We are still blessed with lots of lovely open countryside in the area. The benefits of this new estate far out way the negatives.

I fully support the Cubbington site. I live in the village and it could certainly benefit from some new housing. Myself and my wife have been looking to move for 2 years but we do not wish to leave the area as we like it so much. However the house prices are too high for the size of house we are looking for and a new development would be welcome. It would also bring in much needed extra business to the local shops and public houses. There may also be a positive effect on future house prices if the new proposed high speed rail link is built as it would effectively mean Cubbington would become within the London commuter belt which would benefit everyone. We are still blessed with lots of lovely open countryside in the area and the benefits of this new estate far out way the negatives of a few representatives that resist change.
