Burton Green Neighbourhood Plan - Regulation 16 Submission

Representation ID: 72008

Received: 29/09/2020

Respondent: Mr Mark Nettleton

Representation Summary:

I am in support of cycle ways connecting the village, however these routes need to connect people to places that they want to go, rather than being created just because it is easy to do so. It would seem sensible to provide safe routes for people to cycle all the way to Burton Green Primary School and Tile Hill Railway Station. I refer also to the recent Gear Change Policy Document of the Government, and the DfT’s LTN1/20, which sets out The challenge to local authorities and developers to treat cyclists in the same way as drivers.
