To maintain the village identity, we consider it essential to make movement around the village as easy and safe as is possible, to find means to encourage residents of new estates to feel able to come into the centre of the village and to access the facilities there with ease. In our own experience, social groups (scouts, guides, clubs, WI etc.) offer opportunities to form friendships, exchange ideas and form a cohesive community, to everyone's benefit.

Village facilities must be maintained and improved where possible and more thought given to how we move around safely without compromising footpaths with parked cars, contractor vehicles left blocking roads and driveways and leisure facilities to reflect all age groups not just the fit and able.

I support enhancements made to facilities in the rec ground but would hope these would be positioned away from local houses where possible, due to noise issues and viewing into people's homes/ gardens. Any enhancements to footpaths bridleways etc would benefit the community

Better links to the new housing estate at Semele Park are essential for enabling residents to safely access other village services and facilities. To date there is no safe crossing of the a425.

I fully support all the points in this policy along with its aims to ensure sustainable growth of the areas infrastructure and facilities. recently local roads being dug up to install new communications, replace leaking pipework and overstretched utilites. All of this has been caused by the new housing which has been granted around the village resulting in misery in roadworks for all road users. This cannot continue going forward. The village has grown way beond what is sustainable and there is now many years of catch up to go. Consequently it cannot now be considered a growth village anymore.
