Land East of Kenilworth Development Brief

Representation ID: 71250

Received: 04/01/2019

Respondent: Andrew Milton

Representation Summary:

Good principles in regards to cycling but fails to give priority to cycling and pedestrians over cars - it still accommodates cycling and pedestrians rather than designing on their behalf.

It is essential that the approach to the spine road is not watered down. The road could be potentially dangerous for non car users so must be made safe - including appropriate crossing points.

The mention of connections to wider cycle routes are not sufficiently explained or detailed and are essentially meaningless. If this is not to become a well intentioned white elephant these plans need to be detailed now.
