Additional housing will have detrimental impact on stressed local transport system. Additional housing to original Local Plan allocation will increase congestion, pollution and impact on safety. All access would be via Glasshouse Lane; the character of the residential area will be lost. Traffic can back up to town centre from A46/A452 junction and junctions with A46 suffer congestion at peak times.
