Sites closer to Coventry would be more sustainable - for instance extra traffic would be counter-productive. The traffic would also increase pollution. The proposals also require unnecessary road improvements. The high house prices in this location are unlikely to accommodate Coventry's working population. the proposals would impact on the character and attractiveness of this area. this land is highly valued by locals and is productive farmland.
