Full text:

I am a resident of Barford and have been for the past 4 1/2 years. Our house is on Church Street.
I lived in Old Milverton as a youngster and witnessed the surrounding countryside dwindling year on year. Today, Warwick, Leamington, Whitnash, Southam, Bishop's Tachbrook etc.have all merged to create one concrete, traffic ridden, jungle.
I feel very privileged to live in Barford, but it did not come cheap and our Council Tax is a constant reminder. However, I feel concerned that your proposal is going to take away everything that is cherished by its residents. Barford has accommodated new housing and another couple of sites have been granted. I get the impression that for the sake of Coventry you plan to sacrifice Barford.
I work in Warwick. Already, the amount of traffic has reached a worrying level and there is another huge housing project afoot to be sited on the Banbury road. It worries me that the old Warwick bridge will collapse under the weight of its ever increasing demand.

I would be very grateful if you could carry out more surveys prior to making your countless decisions:

Invite the decision makers to come from London and visit us in Barford. Get them to study the flood plains and make them aware of our restricted infrastructure. Let them witness the level of traffic, especially the 'rat run' through the village. Request that they speak to Mr John Murphy and Mr Alan Rhead about their proposals. Ask them to consider what effect that this is having on our Historic town of Warwick.
One never knows what good these letters do and I steered clear of them in the past, but as a Health care professional I feel that I have a duty of care to raise these issues.
Thanking you in anticipation of reading this and I am aware that your hands may be tied, but please try and defend us against the army of people working in London, who appear totally ignorant or just plain dismissive of our needs and concerns for what is already land on the brink being merged into the ever increasing concrete conurbation.
