This proposed plan to support Coventry Council's housing need is unsound as the location does little for those who want to live and work in Coventry. House Prices are typically higher in Leamington and the local area than in Coventry, transport costs will be higher for those people, congestion will increase further and the environment will be negatively affected. Other development sites closer to Coventry provide a better fit which supports the precedence for releasing lower value to the greenbelt sites first. There are several alternative lower value to the greenbelt sites closer to Coventry.
