Greenbelt land should not be used for development, there are plenty of empty properties and brown field sites in the area which should be used for development before greenbelt land is destroyed. I would recommend that all unused property and brownfield sites in the area are identified and assessed to meet the need for housing before contemplating destroying greenbelt land
