I fail to see why we should provide permanent sites, at tax payer cost, for a group of people who have chosen a travelling life and make no contribution to the cost of the sites and generally show no respect for any site / location they visit. They are "travellers" - surely its a contradiction in terms to provide a permanent site for them. If they want one, why don't they abide by the rules of everyone else!
