I am somewhat confused on how the council believes building new houses will bring new jobs to the area. The only jobs available will be building ones of which I would hope the council will employ our local builders. If the plan is to build new industrial parks then the recent economic recession has freed up many sites which should be filled first before any new build is started. If there is a great need for industrial sites then why has the Ford Foundry site been allowed to remain empty for over two years now?
