Need from Coventry, Birmingham and the Black Country should be met firstly from brown field sites in those areas. In any event, this sentence is not part of a vision it is an administrative statement. The use of brown field sites would help to preserve the amenity of Warwickshire, which has already met considerable need from neighbouring urban areas.

The current infrastructure within Warwick District for roads, public transport, utilities and communications is inadequate. The levels of growth envisaged in the plan will make this worse. Levels of growth should be reduced to make it more realistic that adequate infrastructure will be provided.

Our comments relate to Radford Semele: The settlement analysis identifies the risk of Radford Semele coalescing with neighbouring urban areas, which is a risk that should be avoided. The settlement analysis also shows that Radford Semele has poor connectivity which also restricts the potential for growth. The settlement analysis also recognises that Radford Semele is not in sufficient proximity to a railway line.
