South Warwickshire has the potential to attract and retain high value businesses - it is essential that the Local Plan not only provides for, but actively encourages this through an intelligent approach to Spatial Growth. This involves providing opportunities for the retention and growth of high value employment in places where businesses want to locate and where employees want to live. The Henley-in-Arden Vision document demonstrates how this can be achieved.

NB re: Questions H2a/b, a hybrid approach to affordable housing is required. There should be an absolute level, below which no development should take place. This would prevent developers seeking to negotiate affordable housing down to unacceptable levels. This should sit alongside an approach that recognises differences across sites and geographical areas.
