We support the Radford Semele Neighbourhood Development Plan. It is a credit to the volunteers who have pulled together a very comprehensive and detailed report for the future of our historic and unique village. The village has clearly exceeded its required contribution to the housing needs of Warwickshire with recent and current housing developments without major infrastructural investments in the nursery and school or other services.
The village now needs time to absorb the new population whilst retaining its identity and community spirit. We trust this plan, when fully approved, will determine any new house build applications and not be undermined by financially driven property developers.

I support the Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan.
I feel that the local community should have a bigger say in their future environment, particularly with the possibility of future planning regulations being relaxed.
I would also like to comment on two points in the documentation where a company or a person raised objection to the report, having a commercial interest in this area. I find this strange that these people or a company can be so involved in such a document when they do not reside in the area, as the definition of Neighbourhood is, this locality or vicinity.

Support the plan in general.
It is important that further housing is not allowed. We already have an excess of recent house building without the necessary support of schools, medical facilities, drains, roads and shops.
Further increase in volume and poor quality housing must be resisted.
Although I have mentioned drains above, this is a really urgent matter since it already leads to flooded roads and houses.
It is most necessary that the existing biodiversity of the village and its surrounds is maintained. We need to retain the rural character and encourage wildlife, fields and open spaces are essential if the
health of the residents is to be retained or improved.
