We are always concerned at developments alongside the River Avon but see no specific items in the options that indicate this possibility.
Increased flood risk that may result from development in the catchment area is a concern to ourselves and those on the lower and currently navigable reaches of the river.
Support the requirement of the EA that this risk should be comprehensively mitigated by a sensitive and sustainable approach to drainage schemes.
Recommend the future employment, leisure and environmental opportunities that would be provided by the extension of the Avon Navigation as being complementary to the expansion of population envisaged.
