Strongly object to this land being used other than the high yield arable land that it already is - also Alvis Sports Ground is beneficial to the
junior, youth and senior sports at houses - also Leasowes Garden Nursery employs only handicapped and disabled young people.

This area must be used by Warwick District Council and not used by Coventry City Council. It is ideally located for the amenities of that city and for commuting.

This infringes the green belt further and could eventually lead to Coventry being joined to Kenilworth.

STRONGLY Object if reserved for Coventry allocation.
Support if taking a significant part of WDC allocation and assisting in spreading the WDC allocation across the whole district. This is a good site for development as it is adjacent to good infrastructure and has good access to the motorway network.

The need to reduce carbon footprints with more locally grown produce. Increasing fuel costs will cause foreign imports to become increasingly expensive.
I also live in Princes Drive, we have traffic jams 3 times a day. The proposed large extra housing and traffic will cause greater congestion and loss of productivity and greater pollution.

I do not agree. The area is designated of 'special landscape' with ancient woodland, a unique environment harbouring many different species of wildlife. To develop it would be vandalism.

This contains historic woodland and is useful farmland and should be retained as green belt South of Coventry. It will inevitably lead to the destructionof hedgerows, woodland and arable farmland.

Suggestions for the type of employment we should encourage included, high technology industries, service sector jobs, tourism, biotechnology and professional and financial/business services.
There is already enough available land for the above industries. The Ford foundary closed - so the thought of providing land for factories or light industry does not reflect the current situation.
Use up the land you have before assigning any more. I don't believe you should assign ANY MORE large chunks of land. Please inform your advisers that we have moved on since the industrial revolution.

The Kings Hill, south of Green Lane has old houses, a very old farm, as well as a pleasing outlook for walkers. The animal welfare and habitat for wildlife will be unrepairable for future generations.

I do not feel this land which provides green belt between Coventry and Kenilworth should be used for employment. Other land eg the disused Peugot site or land around Coventry airport should be considered.

Due to shortage of employment to the north of the district areas need to be allocated to the Kenilworth, North of Leamington and Warwick areas. These areas have relatively good access to the A46, A45/M45 and the M40. This would maximise use of existing infrastructure & mean less traffic having to go through Leamington & Warwick centres

No should be Kenilworth, Finham, Baginton Airport, North of Leamington/Warwick areas. This would reduce traffic in town centres and provide good access traffic from/to the A46, A45/M45 and the M40. There are already large areas of employment to the south of the district

Object to development due to:
1. Over estimating demand for land type, numerous existing empty or undeveloped existing sites
2. Use of greenbelt land.
3. Lack of local infrastructure, and impact upon local existing infrastructure.
4. Highway safety and traffic generation.- insufficient existing transport access
5. No consultation with Coventry residents identifying site as a 'standby site'.
5. Loss of visual amenity and impact upon local quality of life.
6. Impact upon environment.
7. Availability of several other, more appropriate brownfield sites in Warwickshire.
8. Significant local opposition.
