I have been asked as a statutory consultee to reply to the letter received regarding the Residential design guide & parking standards supplementary planning document consultation. I have added a link to the fire guidance that is published on the councils website below. Please pay particular attention to section 2, access and facilities for the Fire Service as we are increasingly coming across new developments where fire appliances access is either restricted due the lay out of the development or insufficient parking/poorly designed parking layout.
