The park & ride was supposed to cater for major development on green belt around Old Milverton.
It is not now needed and appears to have been included in error. WDC Officers agreed to remove it from Areas of Search at public examination.
This scheme, with no dedicated vehicles, is a car park a mile away and is most unlikely to be used by casual visitors. Why is WDC building a multi-storey car park if it wants to deter visitors?
If it was a success, major road modifications would be required on A452 which is frequently congested now!
