I strongly urge you to re-consider the proposal to make the permanent site on the Stratford Road.
This site is too close for comfort to a large area of business and residential properties and within easy walking distance of the town centre.
The last time travellers camped on the Stratford Road, they left behind a disgusting mess of litter and general debris - which was an eyesore on one of the major routes into the town - and was cleared by yourselves, I believe?

Is there any reason that the caravan site that was under development on the Warwick/Banbury Road could not be utilised? Presumably some work on infrastructure has already been carried out and this might ease the burden of cost on taxpayers.

Unfortunately many of the Travellers contribute very little to the local community - frequently taking more than they bring - and they have 'a bad press'. As individuals they are probably very nice people, but as a group they have not been good neighbours.

I trust that our local councillors will attempt to safeguard the interests of their voters.
