We have recently learnt of the Council proposal of a permanent Gypsy & Traveller site at land near Severn Trent sewage works.

We would like to lodge an objection to this site being chosen as we do not believe it is a suitable site being adjacent to Chase Meadow Housing estate and Business park.
We have experienced problems in the past with Travellers parking illegally in that area on temporary basis and have had items disappearing from our property during those times which honestly seems too much of a coincidence!

We understand they need to be given a site and appreciate that not all Gypsy/Travellers are a nuisance but they seem to be in the minority! We therefore feel it would be better to be sited outside of the town.
