Nearest GP surgery is full.
Schools are full and have to provide for other new housing developments.
Public transport satisfactory but largely irrelevant as residents likely to use own transport. Bus stop has no pedestrian links.
Hundreds of new traffic movements per day generated.Unwide to introduce more traffic onto two main roads with high flow and fast speeds. Fosse Way is high risk route.
Loss of businesses and WEC. Loss of jobs.

Road is noisy.
No mains sewerage, drainage or gas. Electricity supply will need upgrading.
Fosse Way is Roman road and likely to have remains as yet undiscovered which would be destroyed. Former toll also at this point.
Woodlands contain rare species.
Large site which could not be integrated into the landscape without harming visual appearance.
New residents likely to outnumber existing population preventing peaceful integration.
Urbanisation.
Good quality farmland.
Risk to animal welfare at neighbouring farms.
