Hope a good site can be found and against a "not in my backyard attitude" but object to this site.
Nearest doctors' surgery and schools are in Stratford District area and are at capacity.
On a High Risk travel route. No bus stop and providing one would be unsafe for road users.
The Fosse way is busy and dangerous and with no path or pavement for pedestrians or cyclists it's dangerous for children waiting for schools buses.
No mains gas, sewerage or drainage
Site is a flood risk area.
I realize that some gypsy and travellers would like permanent sites and, if these can be organised so that they pay the relevant rates etc., I hope a good site can be found. I am against a "not in my backyard attitude" but I object to the sites GT03 and GT04 for the following reasons:
1. In connection with access to local amenities, the nearest doctors' surgery and schools are already at capacity. These are also in the Stratford District area and not the Warwick district.
2. The sites are on a High Risk travel route, where no bus stop is available and providing one would be unsafe for road users. The Fosse way is already busy and dangerous from increased Jaguar/Landrover traffic. Children can't stand on a busy road to wait for transport to school and there is no path or pavement for pedestrians or cyclists.
3.The proposed site has no mains gas, sewerage or drainage and the site is a flood risk area.
