This area of search is situated within the flood plain where development is restricted by planning guidance (the NPPF). It is also understood that this is specifically a flood storage area.
It is not understood why this site was chosen in the areas of search as it is in an area of a high risk of flooding? Development of any kind on this site would have an adverse impact on the drainage features and could increase the risk of flooding to the village.
