It does not meet the criteria for easy access to GP Surgery, schools or public transport. Sole access would be directly from A46 with slow moving caravans, etc. accessing and exiting a fast dual carriageway road, increasing accident risk. No safe pedestrian access to the site. It would be clearly visible, spoiling a pleasant greenfield area.
It is close to residential areas in Hampton Magna (even closer to the preferred area for additional housing), with potential for noise and other nuisance, and not meeting the need to promote peaceful and integrated co-existence with the local community.
The site has no easy access to GP Surgery, schools or public transport. The sole access to the site would be directly from A46 (Warwick Bypass), leading to slow moving caravans and lorries accessing and exiting a fast dual carriageway road, with attendant risk of accidents. There would be no safe pedestrian access to the site. The site would be visible from the bypass as well as local residential areas (Hampton Magna), giving a poor image of the area to visitors to Warwick and passing traffic, and spoiling what is at present a pleasant greenfield area.
