Qualified - As far as it goes. However the potential for tourism in the green belt has not been addressed. The report seems to consider that all tourist are sedentary. Walking and other health giving activities are becoming most popular and this area, particularly that in the Castle area, could considerably enhance the number of tourists coming here and so boost the economy. Properly marketed even the walk starting at Birches Lane and passing down to Ashow Church and across the river could be a money spinner.
