It is unclear why this site is being reallocated as a housing site when a new site proposed on Europa way is partly allocated as employment land. What is the rationale for this change of designation?
Whilst it has been previously allocated as employment land. There is not sufficient evidence to show that this rural site is needed for new housing. My representations in 7.1 and 7.2 cast significant doubt on the rural land needed for new housing. A given the signicant brownfield opportunities, there is no justification for this rural land to built on in phase 1.
