Limited growth in villages will help support, sustain and, perhaps, enable the provision of new village amenities. It would also give choice to those people and families who would much prefer to live in a rural environment with the welcome addition of a good community existence, open countryside and footpaths at their door, rather than having to settle for yet another large urban development.
