A recent Parish Survey indicated a much lower number of houses than 100 are needed in the village of Bishop's Tachbrook. Also the sewage system needs improving before more houses are added to it, as it cannot cope at present. When we have torrential downpours, of which we will have more in the future due to climate change, sewage backs up and floods from the manhole covers in Oakley wood Road near the Leopard Inn and from the manhole cover in our garden where it is very near the surface.
