1. Introduction

1.1 The CIL Draft Charging Schedule was published for public consultation from 16th January 2017 to 20th February 2017. This consultation period complies with Regulation 16 of the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulation (as amended) 2010.


1.2 Following on from consideration of representations made on the Draft Charging Schedule, and in accordance with Regulation 11, 16 and 19 of the CIL Regulations, this Statement of Modifications sets out the changes that Warwick District Council is proposing to its Draft Charging Schedule since it was published for consultation.


1.3 Representations and comments are therefore invited on this Statement of Modifications (and specifically the changes to the CIL Draft Charging Schedule as set out in Annex 1), which is issued for a period of consultation from Friday 19th May 2017 to Friday 16th June 2017 ending at 4.45pm.


1.4 The Council has also submitted its CIL Draft Charging Schedule, supporting evidence and documents, for Examination in Public.


1.5 Representations now made on this Statement of Modifications will be sent to the Independent Examiner conducting the examination after the closing date of the consultation, for further consideration. Please note that all comments will also be made public.


2. Publication

2.1 As required under Regulation 19 of the CIL Regulations, a copy of this Statement of Modifications has been sent to each of the persons that were invited to make representations on the Draft Charging Schedule under CIL Regulation 16. The Statement has also been published on the Council’s website, and will be made available at the following locations during the hours outlined below:

3. Proposed Modifications

3.1 Representations on the CIL Draft Charging Schedule and consideration of further information have led the Council to conclude that two modifications should be proposed. These modifications are set out in Annex 1

4. Providing Comments and Requests to be heard by the Examiner

4.1 Representations and requests to be heard by the Examiner on the modifications proposed for the CIL Draft Charging Schedule, as set out in this Statement of Modifications, must include details of the modifications on which you wish to be heard (by reference to the Statement of Modifications) and a written statement as to the reasons for your support or opposition to the modifications. A copy of each statement and requests to be heard will be sent to the Examiner. Please use the accompanying consultation response form for your written statement as it will help us keep accurate and consistent records of all comments. 4.2 It is important that you include your name and address, as anonymous forms cannot be accepted. If your address details change, please inform us in writing.


4.3 All information regarding the Council’s CIL Charging Schedule is available on the website using the above link. However, please note that it is no longer possible to comment on all other aspects of the CIL Draft Charging Schedule and supporting documents. All representations must therefore be related to the changes in Draft Charging Schedule detailed by the Annex of this Statement of Modifications.


4.4 Representations and requests to be heard at the CIL examination, can be made via the website through the online consultation system or via email or post, using the consultation response form (available from the Council’s website or at the locations listed in 2 above) by 4.45pm on Friday 16th June 2017, to:

Amend zoning map at Hampton Magna to ensure the two Local Plan Housing Allocations at Hampton Magna (site H27 and H51) are within the same zone. Specifically, the “white area” shown on the Zoning Map dated 6/4/17 will change from Zone A to Zone D.
