Publication Draft Local Plan: Focused Consultation

(6)1. Introduction

1.1 The Publication Draft Local Plan (April 2014) was published for a six week period of public consultation between Friday 16th May and Friday 27th June 2014. Since then further work has been undertaken to assess the suitability of alternative employment land options within the District. Further, two pieces of evidence that were relied upon in preparing the Publication Draft Local Plan have been published more recently. This consultation therefore covers two areas:

• Proposed amendments to allocations in the Local Plan
• An opportunity to make further representations on the Local Plan where it is considered the more recently published pieces of evidence have a bearing on it.
