The proposed allocation of land at Stratford Road,does not appear likely to impact on any designated site or landscape in such a way that might give rise to an objection.
We note the proximity of this allocation to the River Avon which, according to our records, is designated as a Local Site (contrary to the impression given by the Sustainability Appraisal Addendum). We commend the inclusion of provisions that 'development will need to ensure that there are no negative effects on the River Avon' and encourage the Local Planning Authority to consider possible opportunities to enhance the designated feature.
