The acknowledgement of the current promotion of free schools is to be supported. I ask that paragraph 72 of the NPPF is used as justification and support for this comment. Planning policy should clearly and definitely support the promotion and development of school providers whose aim is to provide education at the highest level. NPPF 72 states, "Local planning authorities should take a proactive, positive and collaborative approach to meeting this requirement"

As a Christian, I feel that community facilities should include the provision for places of worship. This vital part of the community facilities underlies safe, peaceful and cohesive communities. It increases and promotes well being, and even WDC Local Plan PO17 states that they help to 'enrich people's quality of life', however does not demonstrate how WDC will deliver new community infrastructure. I request therefore that they appear within the infrastructure plan as an essential requirement for all communities and development and that a more detailed outline of how this will be delivered is also included.
