The LPA should considor the role of Sport in the natural environment. The district is rich with opportunities which should be carefully managed to accommodate the wider community's interests and requirements, not just conservationists and ramblers.

The definition of good high quality design is subjective. The LPA should not be closed to non-vernacular /conservation design being put forward by architects and designers. The use of MADE should more wide spread as part of the planning process, to assist officers in their decision making where design is an issue
