Potential Settlement Question B1

Representation ID: 93404

Received: 02/03/2025

Respondent: Norton Lindsey Parish Council

Representation Summary:

Norton Lindsey Parish Council does not believe that settlement location ‘B1 - ‘Land at Hatton’ should be included within the new plan. There are several reasons that this is the case – in particular the impact on the green belt and local health and education services.

The most significant potential impact that will affect the Parish of Norton Lindsey directly is of increased traffic on the local rural road network. The impact of this development on this network would be significant and, without substantial mitigation, disastrous. Significant intrusive highway and traffic calming measures would need to be put in place.

Potential Settlement Question BW

Representation ID: 93407

Received: 02/03/2025

Respondent: Norton Lindsey Parish Council

Representation Summary:

This proposed development could have significant impacts on the local rural road network – particularly from drivers seeking to avoid the A46 and/or rat-running through the local villages of Langley Green, Snitterfield, Wolverton and Norton Lindsey. Sufficient traffic management would need to be in place to dissuade residents from using these local roads.
