I object to the development of Long Marston Airfield and surrounding land as a new mixed-use settlement unless essential infrastructure improvements are made, including upgrades to the B4632 Campden Road, a relief road around Stratford, and sustainable travel options. The site is inadequately connected to major transport routes, hindering its sustainability and potential for employment. Although I initially supported a development of 3,500 dwellings, this was contingent on necessary traffic infrastructure being established. As no funding exists for these projects, I oppose further phases of development without these improvements in place.
