In the explanatory note 5.138 it says there will be an adverse effect on water quality and 5.139m acknowledges that although sewerage treatment has improved there is a need for further investment to meet required river standards. No work has been undertaken by Seven Trent to improve conditions and it was at capacity in 2010. Therefore no building work be permitted on Kings Hill until the Finham Sewage works can demonstrate an increased capacity able to supply extra dwellings suggested in both WDC and CCC local plans.
