A clear time frame for the production of evidence (the GTAA) and the delivery of a site or sites needs to be set out. The original GTAA was published in 2008, and there seems to have been very little done practically in the 4 years since then other than produce a few reports which themselves also have little weight. It is agreed that the original GTAA was poor - it is unlikely that the council would be heading into an examination if the mainstream housing figures were unknown and this approach is contrary to national policy.

The villages of Hampton Magna and Hampton on the Hill are of an Historical character. they are situated within a greenbelt consisting of agricultural fields used for crops and livestock. the character of the area would be destroyed. The roads are not suitable for safe entrances. (see PO4)

This is an area of outstanding character within the green belt. The roads are already really busy due to the school and train station - pease see PO4 response.

Re - Thickthorn preferred option.
The site is adjacent to Retirements bungalows (Thickthorn orchards), a nursing home (Kenilworth Manor), grade 2 listed buildings, and ancient and manages woodland.
Therefore, not conclusive to a travellers site situation.
