Airfields are an easy target for developers despite a range of government studies and documents proclaiming the importance of GA airports as internal transport corridors that also provide open space and ecological benefits. It is incomprehensible that successful airport related businesses are put in jeopardy and that Coventry airport should be destroyed for what is proving to be very speculative purposes.
