All new builds should be required to install rooftop PV generation in order to meet renewable energy requirements in the most cost effective and environmentally friendly way.
The criteria for the consideration of solar farms and wind farms should be amended so that there is a greater emphasis on the consideration of visual and landscape harms, the protection of productive grade 3b agricultural land and the social and amenity value of open spaces and footpaths
