Wellesbourne Airfield I wholeheartedly support the safeguarding of the aviation functions of the former wartime aerodrome of Wellesbourne Mountford in-line with existing Area Policy AS.9 in the adopted Stratford-on-Avon District Core Strategy. The aerodrome must be retained and developed as a General Aviation aerodrome forming an important part of the national infrastructure of aerodromes within the United Kingdom.
