These Councils should not be relying on the few adopted Neighbourhood Plans. It is their duty to allocate Local Green Spaces for protection within their local plans and be proactive in regards to this important designation. Local Green Spaces are fundamental to the wellbeing and mental health of local populations, over and above the critical place they hold within the environment and its sustainability.
