Wellesbourne airfield is a significant and irreplaceable asset to Warwickshire which must be preserved and supported. I strongly agree with the council proposal to safeguard the aviation function of the airfield in line with the existing area policy AS.9,, and believe that this will give the airfield the long term security and backing that it needs.
