I agree with the desire for sustainable transport that simultaneously reduces reliance on cars and related pollution and traffic issues. The pressure on Leamington and Warwick and the area down to the south as far as the Oxfordshire border will only intensify in the future. (Bridging points over the Avon and Leam!!!?) However, one part of the solution would be to reinstate FENNY COMPTON STATION . Its position halfway between Leamington and Banbury (approx 10 miles in each direction) would relieve the pressure that is bound to follow the exponential growth of housing and commercial development in South Warwickshire.
